About Us
Established in 1836, Noxapater Baptist Church has been serving the Winston County area for nearly two centuries now.
In recent years, our congregation has experienced a revitalization, welcoming many young families, growing our children and student ministries, and even seeing a steady increase in baptisms.
What we believe
As southern baptists, we center our beliefs on the inerrancy of the Bible, salvation exclusively by grace and through faith in Jesus Christ, Believer's baptism by immersion, and the autonomy of the local church.
We also believe that all humans are created in the image of god and are worthy to be valued, loved, and respected regardless of any differences we may have.
Praise and Worship
We place great value on praise and worship -- giving back a portion of the thanksgiving that god is due for all he has done for us.
we blend both classic hymns and modern contemporary music into our worship time with the goal of blessing the ears of the Father through song.
Programs for all Ages
We do all in our power to offer meaningful and insightful programs and curriculum for all age groups. From newborns to preteens, from middle schoolers to master's students, from newlyweds to great-grandparents -- we offer a place and a family for everyone.
Community Engagement
outside of the church building, we also take great care in fostering positive relationships with our community by interacting with our school system, our community chamber, and various county and community events as well as spending time serving others at the individual level.
